The USA made Elite T Series is designed as an alternative to the traditional Ovation Elite series. Shedding the classic multi-piece hardwood epaulet sound hole decorations, this new model incorporates a simpler, untrimmed, 11-hole pattern that enhances the low and mid range punch. The rock maple neck profile has also been slimmed down to give it a look and feel more appealing to electric players. An ultra light, yet incredibly durable, textured enamel finish is wrapped around the entire back and top.

The Elite T is outfitted with the new Ovation OP30 preamp featuring 3-band EQ, pre-shape and mid-shift buttons, and a full on-board chromatic tuner.

Chrome tuners, a tusq nut and a rosewood bridge keep your intonation right on the mark and give your strings the surfaces they need to perform at their best. An Ovation Original Patented Pickup and OP-Pro preamp w/chromatic tuner make plugging in satisfying, not frustrating. Straplok strap buttons keep your baby secure.

The exotic wood leaf-shaped epaulets are now inlaid into the top with laser precision. The new cleaner design actually offers a slight sound enhancement.

Lyrachord Body
The smooth, hard composite Lyrachord GS body improves projection and reflects top vibrations better than traditional material and is now even lighter and stronger.

With the introduction of micro spheres, the new Lyrachord GS bowl weighs one half pound less than the original Lyrachord bowl. An integrated platform, molded in the bowl at the neck joining area is the start of a stable structure that supports the entire neck.

Laser cutting the epaulettes allows for an exact fit and optimizes the yield of exotic wood.

After curing in a climate-controlled environment for over three months, Ovation spruce tops are pocketed for inlaid epaulettes or rosettes.

Using CNC technology, braces blanks are scalloped to exacting tolerances.
